Bought 5,400 shares of Leader at 53 sen yesterday.

Zhulian & Analabs
Let's compare for fun ...
Zhulian
Cash after Total Liabilities RM 0.13
Current asset include liquid security at market value after Total Liabilities RM 0.43
Current Share price RM 1.16
Analabs
Cash after Total Liabilities RM 0.26
Current asset include liquid security at market value after Total Liabilites RM 0.89
Current Share price RM 0.86
By Balance sheet comparison, it is obvious Analabs is more actractive than Zhulian.
How about earning. This is a little more tricky.
Analabs projected EPS will be at 18 sen per share.
Therefore it will be trading at PE of 4.8
For Zhulian to trade at PE 4.8 , its earning should be at 24 sen per share.
And even if Zhulian able to earn 24 sen per share, its balance sheet is still far less value compare to Analabs.
So, for Zhulian to be at par with Analabs value, either Zhulian must be able to earn more than 24 sen per share or Zhulian should trade at LOWER SHARE PRICE.

As we know when come to selecting which stock to invest, one thing that we need to do, is comparing one stock with another. Why stock A, and why not stock B or stock C ? One obvious answer is because stock A appears more actractive COMPARE with stock B or C.
B and C may have a very good earning, very high net cash, and no debt ..... but COMPARING to stock A which have BETTER earning, HIGHER net cash and no debt, will make stock A more Attractive.
Another situtation could be the price comparison.
B & C might have a better or higher earning and net assets .... but their current trading price is too HIGH compare to price of stock A, and this will make stock A more Attractive again.
And as you raise it, the short history of earning (eg. newly listed stock or less than 5 years), will make the future projection of its earning more difficult and usually resulted in higher probability of error. So, to avoid wasting my time analysing something which will resulted in high probability of error projection, I will just skip this newly listed or young stock.

Portfolio ~ 15 Apr 09
Market always full of surprised ... sometimes nice and sometimes nasty.
I am still to stunned to comment on anything !
Oh well, if it drop tommorow, .... I hope my net paper profit of RM 6,000 will be enough to cushion my fall, and keep me at least above the water.
Congrates to other 'Investlah' comrades ... but do keep vigilant.

Bursa went up 1.3 % , and my net profit for 2009 already touched 16.5 % in less than 4 months !
One word described it all ~ CRAZY !
Too fast, too soon, too high ~ but I am too STUNNED to do anything !

Leader shot up to 51 sen.
Analabs stuck at 84 sen.

Oh well .... when some stock go up too fast ... it might come down fast too.

Did some peeking on NSTP, it seemed to depend too much on 'non-current asset' to operate.
There is an improvement on Total Liabilities and Net Current Asset.
Anyway, I used to hate its paper ... I'm not sure how the papers doing now.

Portfolio ~ 10 Apr 09
Yesterday was Good Friday ...and the Good Friday was really Good.
Everything went up !
I did not sell-off anything from my portfolio.
Therefore, all the profit will stay as paper profit.
What will happen on this coming Monday .... will it be 'Black Monday' ... ?

Today no trading for me.
Najib announced his cabinet just now.
Not much change for my portfolio.
Analabs and Leader remained more or less the same.
Tomorrow Sarawak state holiday for Good Friday.
Did some screening on Hexza ... will put it on the 'waiting for better prospect' basket.
